Officer Zachary Salazar is an 12-year veteran of the California Highway Patrol. He is currently assigned as the Public Information Officer for the CHP Santa Fe Springs Area, where he is responsible for the Area’s education and prevention programming as well as media relations. Prior to his current assignment, Officer Salazar was assigned to road patrol for 8 years on the graveyard shift and currently holds certifications as a Drug Recognition Evaluator, Field Training Officer, and Officer-In-Charge.
